Health care professions are continuously changing. So are health career training programs, certification
requirements, job prospects, projected salaraies, educational institutions, and professional organizations.
Every effort has been made to provide the most up-to-date information. This information was gathered
by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and
Area Health Education Centers are a resource for students and other job seekers
who are interested in health careers. They also help providers and health care
