Length of Training
As of 2007 the minimum level of training is a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. All OT training programs require at least six months of supervised work in a health care setting.
Licensure/Certification
OTs are required to pass a national certification program. OTs must also complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every two years to maintain their license.
